As many of you know by now, this November will mark another significant event for the Red Angus world. Our founder and member SAL FORBES, will be inducted into the very prestigious Saddle and Sirloin Club, in Louisville.

This is a huge honor for the Forbes family and quite frankly, for all of us involved in Red Angus around the globe. Not only will she be the first affiliated with our breed, she will also be the first female ever.

The goal is to raise $34,000.00 before this November. The following is the breakdown of the expenses:

1, Portrait $17,000.00.

2. Artist travel expenses to Sheridan and then Louisville est. $4,000.00.

3. Framing $1,600.00.

4. The other $8,000.00 to $10,000.00 is for the banquet, speaker’s expense, Sal and her family to travel to Louisville (plus hotel expense).

If every member gave $10.00, this goal will be accomplished. Please send funds to the Red Angus Office and specify it is for Sal Forbes.
